medium that lets the roots breathe and allows the plant to absorb the
food they need.

Rockwool is clean and easy to set up throughout all steps, from propagation to harvest, on the same uniform substrate. Rockwool provides the grower with much more precision in watering and management of nutrition in recirculation systems or flood tables. This medium has excellent air to water ratio proven to achieve higher yields, faster establishment, improved stem length, better bottom breaking, improved leaf expansion and better head size versus soil grown plants.

Hydroton are Light Expanded Clay Aggregate or LECA which is a high performance growing media. Changing your reservoir every two to three weeks allows the clay rock to provide superior action exchange and washing with pure water and a salt reducer such as Grotek’s Final Flush, is very beneficial to the medium.
